SPRING FEST 2026

Visit us at this annual Goochland-Powhatan Master Gardeners event at the Goochland Sports Complex, 1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland Courthouse – Saturday, April 25^th 8:00 to 3:00

Celebrate all things gardening at this family friendly plant sale and educational opportunity. We will have flower seedings, potted iris plants, floral and wood crafts available. We’re also happy to answer any flower questions you may have.

Monday Mood Booster Blooms

Visit the Powhatan Flower Truck at the Farm – Mondays 4:00 to 7:00 pm

Do you suffer the back to work Monday blues? Then you need flower therapy! Treat yourself to a bouquet of seasonal blooms on the way home, MARCH through OCTOBER.

Start the weekend off on a positive note with some fresh flowers. The Powhatan Flower Truck will have lots of lovely options, MARCH through OCTOBER, here at the Farm.

Every Thursday from March through October (except July and August) we’ll be at the market with an assortment of flowers, fruits, and/or vegetables.

Mother’s Day

13 West Flower Stand at the Farm – Saturday, May 9, 2026 10:00 a.m. until sell out!

This year we’re offering Belgian-style bouquets inspired by our trip to Europe for Mom. Mix and match three (3) bundles of flowers, we’ll add greenery and wrap it up into a beautiful gift for Mom. Stop by the farm early to get the best selection.

Pick Your Own Events at the Farm

Ready to channel your inner floral Picasso? Pick your preferred day and time, grab your tickets on the website, and join us in the flower field where you can pick your own flowers—no green thumb required! Morning and late afternoon hours for your comfort.

Daffodil Days

We’re celebrating the arrival of Spring on Friday and Saturday, March 20 – 21, 2026

Graystem Farm is on a mission to fill the world with flowers, starting with a few thousand daffodils; and we add more each year. If you love these sunny spring blooms as much as we do, this is your chance to pick a bunch in the colors you love best. Easter eggs will also be scattered throughout the flower field for children under 5.

Summer Sunset Magic

Join us for a romantic sunset pick your own evening on Friday, May 22, 2026

The end of May is peak lavender bloom when the field smells intoxicating after a warm summer day and the golden hour before the sun goes down is the perfect opportunity for professional photography! 15 minute photo sessions will be available at this couples inspired pick your own event.

Halloween Harvest

Saturday, October 10, 2026

Celebrate the spirit of the season by creating a stunning centerpiece. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to design a lush, seasonal arrangement using autumnal blooms, textural foliage, and natural elements that reflect the warmth and abundance of the harvest.

Workshops

Wine & Design – Saturday, May 2, 2026 – Learn the essentials of floral design as we enjoy light refreshments accompanied by your favorite red or white. This is a hands-on workshop where each participant will create a unique personal arrangement to take home.

Lavender Wreath – Sunday, June 7, 2026 – Come learn all the benefits of lavender as your craft a fresh lavender wreath to take home and dry.

Eco-Printing – Friday, August 21, 2026 – Get ready for an energetic hands-on workshop where you make a one of kind tote bag or silk scarf embellished using fresh flowers.

Crowning Glory – date to be determined – Learn to make your own flower crown using a variety of fresh and dried flowers.

Forever Flowers – Thursday, September 17, 2025 – Have you ever wanted to dry flowers or create beautiful dried flower wreaths, but don’t quite know where to begin? In this workshop we’ll walk you through the flower field selecting, harvesting, and exploring different methods of drying and storing flowers that will hold their color and shape for a variety of floral crafts.
